DREVO - WOOD2005 - 1Sst International Exhibition of Materials and Technologies for Woodworking and Furniture Industry

FOREST 2005 - 8th Specialized Forestry Exhibition the largest fair focused on wood in Slovakia - the fair for suppliers for woodworking and furniture industries, carpenters and forestry.

In the last year during LIGNUMEXPO-FOREST 2004, there was 258 exhibiting companies on net space of 11 214 sqm. We have registered 14 478 visitors from all the regions of Slovakia and neighbouring countries. One hall was occupied by the third exposition “CONTRACTS OF THE SLOVAK FURNITURE PRODUCERS”.
This contract´exposition will take place during WOOD-FOREST2005 again !

The fair Lignumexpo is since the year 2004 supported by the European Federation of Woodworking Machinery Manufacturers and it is also a reason why it will take place biannually – every two years. The co-organizers of the fair WOOD-FOREST are the Association of Wood Processing Manufacturers of the Slovak Republic and the s.p. Lesy Slovenskej republiky.


The fairground AX was in the previous years reconstructed and converted to one of the largest fairgrounds in the middle and eastern Europe with new halls and modern infrastructure. There are new roads connecting Nitra with Vienna, Bratislava and Budapest and all these cities are reachable by car within less than two hours.

We keep for several years the same prices for exhibition space and services. To give good conditions to small companies, we provide a special offer, which includes the whole stand space and construction and exhibition services in one packet for a very small prices – if you are interested in this, we can send you this ”special offer”.
